Get the Information You Need, When You Need It Most

At Webster Auto Body, we understand that sometimes you just don't have the time to make a phone call. We get it. That's why we've designed this page. Here, you'll find helpful information and answers to some of the questions that many of our customers have asked us in the past. If you have any additional questions, please contact us today.

  • I’ve just been in an auto collision. What’s next?

First, get in touch with your insurance provider. Explain the nature of your accident and request a claim number after your report has been filed. After that, give us a call, and we'll take care of the rest. As long as you provide a claim number, we can facilitate the appraising, repair, and payment processes.

  • How can I obtain a free estimate?

    You have two options:

    1. Email us at Estimates@Websterautobody.com. Please include several pictures of the damage along with your VIN number.
    2. Come by the shop between the hours of 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. We'll assess the damage onsite and send you over an estimate via email.
  • Does my insurance company require more than one estimate?

No. You don't have to use any particular collision repair facility to obtain repairs. You choose the repair facility and authorize repairs. Your insurance company can't require you to go to a particular shop. However, your insurer may want to have their own adjuster inspect the vehicle and damage. If your vehicle is unsafe to drive, have it towed to our shop and inform your insurer where it may be inspected. We can assist in any towing or rental car-related needs you may have.

  • Do I have to pay a deductible?

Your deductible is determined by your existing insurance policy. With broad collision coverage, your insurance company will most likely waive your deductible. Insurance companies will determine fault based on your account of the accident when you make the claim and by reviewing the accident report filed with the local police department. If you're not sure about your deductible, call your insurance company, and they'll tell you whether your deductible has been waived or if you'll be responsible for paying when you pick up your vehicle.

  • Do I pay the repair bill, or is my insurance company responsible?

The vehicle owner is responsible. However, insurance companies have a legal obligation to their insured to pay for the repairs. Generally, an insured will pay the deductible, and the insurance company will pay the rest to the insured unless you specifically request that you want them to pay the body shop directly.

  • What type of paint and facilities do you have?

We use high-quality waterborne basecoat products from Standox. Our shop has state-of-the-art equipment for the highest quality repair job on your automobile. We have two downdraft spray booths, a computerized alignment machine, and two frame machines at our disposal for every job. We also use Spanesi frame machines.
